Initial Setup

BIOS

• Disable Power Management and ACPI
• Enable Legacy USB support

Hardware Setup

Under Windows

Magnetic Card Reader Setup

Original Reader

• Mag Reader > Communications > K/B: Disable Alt Encoding
• Mag Reader > Communications > Magnetic Card: Track 2 Only
• Transmit Changes to Reader

Magtek Reader

• Program: Micro Wedge Utility
• ISO Cards
• Disable Tracks 1 and 3

Install Linux

• USB Boot
• Use the Kickstart Script

First Boot

BIOS

• Disable USB booting
